Brothers Lars and Göran Sundberg, passionate about the sea, arrived from Sweden sailing in a 1920s galleon. They soon founded Marina Auto near Puerto Banús, with the mission of offering a comprehensive service that would allow their clients to enjoy the sea without worries.

The project for a dry marina and shipyard begins in the port of Marbella, with capacity for more than 600 boats from 6 to 30 meters. The Marina Marbella headquarters is established, and a sales office is opened in Puerto Banús, pioneering in offering a comprehensive customer service.
International expansion with the opening of operations in England, Portugal, and Morocco, in addition to new points of sale and service in Spain and the Balearic Islands. Marinas and dry docks such as Marina Yachting (Seville) and Puerto Marina Smir (Morocco) are developed.
European expansion continues, including Sweden, the founders’ country of origin. The commercial and service network grows strongly in different markets.
