Dear friends,

It is with a very sad heart that we inform you that Göran Sundberg, co-founder of Marina Marbella, passed away last 30^th September at the age of 70, by his summerhouse in Sweden.

A memorial will be held in his honour on Saturday 29^th October. Everyone who wishes to attend is welcome by our office in Puerto Banús, Marbella, from 4pm. The funeral will be held the week prior to this date in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Thank you for all the beautiful and supportive messages we have been receiving. We are overwhelmed by how many people’s hearts he has touched.

I have just learned of Gorans passing from your web site I was curious when I did not receive a reply to my Xmas email.
I am so thankful I got to spend a few hours with him in Barcelona last year rekindling the warm mate ship we shared in our youth when I worked for and with Lars & Goran that time ranks very high in my special memories.
Tuck Goran it was a pleasure to have shared part of your life.

I was just looking to contact Goran as I am looking to rekoin the martime industry that I love so much when this sad news hit me in the face. So sorry to all of you Sundberg family. And friends, devastating news. Goran and I got on like a house on fire he always trusted me as did I 200% . Happy memories and smiley times. God bless you Goran and all that sailed with you x Gutted.

Sorry to hear this, loved his company when we “trained” helicopter in Fort Lauderdale in 1989.
