The Hatteras 70 Convertible ranked among the largest production convertibles of its day when it was introduced in 1988. Described by Hatteras as a “sports fishing boat with the best of all worlds,” its 18-foot beam offers ample storage space, spacious rooms and bedrooms for the owner, several guests and crew. This is a robustly built boat, with propeller pockets recessed into the hull to reduce draft and a long keel that aids directional stability. Its spacious four-stateroom interior is laid out with the galley and dinette forward, one step up from the large salon.
