KEY DATES
1965 - The boat business started in the port of Marbella.
1967 - The first nautical showroom and service facility was built in Marbella, namely Marina Auto.
1982 - A dry marina and boat yard were built in Marbella with space to store more than 600 boats from 6 to 30 metres in length, thus creating the new headquarters and service centre of Marina Marbella with enough capacity to face up to the challenge of the 80's and it's ever increasing demand.
At the same time, a sales office was opened in the exclusive Puerto Banus where they were pioneers in offering comprehensive boat care services.
1982 – 1991 – The company entered new markets in UK, Portugal and Morocco with great success whilst increasing its presence in Spain, where new sales and service points were set up across the peninsula and the Balearics.
1991 - The Group extended its activities to construction and management of world-class marinas and yacht harbours in Seville (Marina Yachting) and Morocco (Port Marina Smir), both with sales offices, showrooms and service centres.
1995- 2005 –The company continued to spread its strong European sales and service network, including in Sweden where the Directors had started their journey 30 years before.
2005 – 2006 –The company commemorated its 40 Year anniversary with the completion of yet another ambitious project: the construction of a new marina and service centre in Setubal, Portugal.
