IN THE BEGINNING...

The roots of the company date back to 1965.  At the young age of 19 and 22 the brothers Lars & Göran Sundberg, both passionate boaters, came sailing from Sweden in an old oak galleon from the 1920s to settle themselves in the beautiful area of Marbella.

When the Swedish brothers built Marina Auto close to Puerto Banus in the 60s, their main goal was to provide comprehensive boat care services to maximise their clients’ boating experiences. And it proved a great success.

Lars and Göran Sundberg who know the nautical world from every angle, have over these 40 years directed the Marina Marbella Group which today consists of 20 sales offices, 14 service centres and 3 ports in five countries over two continents.
